From the high slopes of Cañas Verdes comes this standout lot from Abu Coffee - a producer we return to whenever we want a coffee that feels unmistakably Geisha. This release leans fully into elegance: refined, aromatic, and lifted, the kind of cup that reminds you why the region has such an outsized reputation for nuance.
Cañas Verdes sits in the Chiriquí highlands, where mist, volcanic soils, and cool nights push the plants toward slow, expressive development. Abu’s microlots are shaped by this mix of altitude and careful agronomy - sweet cherries, bright acidity, and the signature florality that has become their calling card. The cherries for this lot were picked at peak ripeness and processed with Abu’s meticulous approach: ultra clean handling, controlled drying, and a steady, patient finish that protects aromatics rather than overpowering them.
In the cup, it’s a bloom of jasmine, orange blossom, and soft tropical florals, carried by a light, silky texture and a clean, shimmering sweetness. A quiet, confident coffee — not shouting, just glowing. If you love the feeling of a cup that leans into perfume-like clarity and precision, this is one to grab while it lasts.
